Estimated time
How long will it take?
Gorby divides your word count by a typical pace: 240 words per minute for reading, 180 for speaking, and 40 for writing. The results show up in the Stats panel, and the reading time also sits in the top bar.
Everyone's pace is different, so you can set your own speeds in Settings and every estimate follows. Try it with the sliders.
Why it matters
Speaking time tells you if your talk fits a 10-minute slot. Reading time is what readers check before they commit to an article. Writing time helps you plan your next session.
