Find and fix redundant word combinations in your text. Make your writing more concise by removing unnecessary word repetitions.

Understanding Redundant Words
The Redundant Words feature helps you identify phrases where words unnecessarily repeat the same meaning, such as “basic fundamentals.” By detecting these redundancies, it helps make your writing more concise and professional.
How It Works
The feature analyzes your text and:
- Identifies common redundant phrases
- Highlights instances where meaning is unnecessarily repeated
- Offers suggestions for more concise alternatives
- Provides quick fixes to remove redundancies
Detection and Correction

When you run the Redundant Words check, redundant phrases are underlined in your text. Open the results panel using the “Show Results” button to see a complete list of detected redundancies.
For each redundant phrase, the panel provides:
- The full redundant phrase
- An explanation of why it’s redundant
- A suggested correction
You can then:
- Use the Select button to locate the phrase in your text
- Click the Fix button to automatically remove the redundant word
Customization Options

In the settings panel, you can:
- Choose the underline color for highlighted redundant phrases
